The area is famed for its popular beaches including Chesil Beach which stretches for 18 miles. Enjoy some of the many attractions within a short drive which include Weymouth with its Sealife Centre, Abbotsbury Swannery, Monkey World, Dinosaur Museum, Lulworth Cove and Castle, Durdle Door and much more. In the evenings, relax in the enclosed garden or stroll to one of three pubs all within a 15 minute walk.

Roman remains have been found at Chickerell indicating that there has been settlement in the area for many years. Chickerell is in an excellent postion to explore the surrounding area and with so much on your doorstep in every direction you will be hard pushed to discover all the area has to offer in just one visit.
For eating out there are two pubs in Chickerell which both offer excellent food. However, due to its location you have the pick of hundreds of options all within a 10 to 15 minute car journey.Read less
