Description
Located in a charming and secluded environment on the Jurassic coastline, Pebble Cottage has been converted to a high specification and is well-equipped with lovely wood-burning stoves. The cottage has its own garden area and use of the adjoining three-acre field for children’s activities, including football and badminton. Situated 100 yards off the main road, the cottage is set in a quiet location within easy walking distance of Chickerell.
Adjacent to the site is a riding stable, the perfect way for a family to explore the area, and within two miles is Weymouth Golf Course. The lovely Victorian seaside town of Weymouth is a few miles along the coast, where children can enjoy the Blue Flag sandy beach. A day trip to France or the Channel Islands and even a sea fishing trip can be enjoyed, all leaving from the harbour.
Open-plan living/dining room with wood-burning stove, sofa-bed (for alternative sleeping only) and well-equipped fitted kitchen. Separate toilet. First floor: Double bedroom with four-poster bed, TV and en-suite shower room with toilet. Twin bedroom with additional pull-out bed (for 1), TV and DVD. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.

Chickerell is a parish within West Dorset and although rapid growth in the past 20 years has seen it become a town, the heart of the community is still very much that of a village. To the west is the Fleet lagoon, to the north-west is Portesham, to the east Weymouth, and to the south, Portland. This area forms part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.

Chickerell is in an excellent postion to explore the surrounding area and with so much on your doorstep in every direction you will be hard pushed to discover all the area has to offer in just one visit.
For eating out there are two pubs in Chickerell which both offer excellent food. However, due to its location you have the pick of hundreds of options all within a 10 to 15 minute car journey.
