Settled in the charming small village of Puncknowle, lying not far from the shores of the Dorset coast, is this incredible 300-year-old cottage, Burwell Cottage, complete with a picture-perfect thatched roof. Enjoying original characteristics, including exposed beams, feature fireplaces and historic charm, Burwell Cottage is an ideal dwelling for a group of six seeking a peaceful stay in Dorset.

After a day of exploring the coast settle into the lofty living space where a huge feature inglenook rests before the plush seating, relax here before the Freeview TV or sit around the rustic dining table to the rear of the room for board games or activity planning. Discover the lovely country kitchen, home to an excellent Smeg range cooker along with a host of appliances, with a breakfast table in here to sit at with your morning coffee. West Bexington

West Bexington is a small pretty coastal village. Situated between the nearby villages of Abbotsbury and Burton Bradstock. The towns of Dorchester and Weymouth are 27 minutes away by car in opposite directions. The village is surrounded by National Trust land. Popular for its all-year-round fishing, you can very often catch mackerel off Chesil Beach in the summer and bass in the autumn. The area is a birdwatcher's paradise and great for ramblers discovering unseen treasures.

West Bexington offers the perfect spot to explore the South West Coast Path. Marvel at the spectacular views over Chesil and Weymouth beach. The village of Abbotsbury offers a few local shops. The Swannery in Abbotsbury is well worth a visit, for bird-lovers and you may even be lucky enough to spot a cygnet. Abbotsbury children's farm is a delight for any parent looking to entertain their children. Children can ride tractors, visit pets corner, and much more.
